On 25 June 2026 a bill was put forward to change Denmark's special law for people displaced from Ukraine. If it passes, men aged 23 to 60 would only get a permit if they can show they are exempt from military service. The page says the change would cover applications filed on or after 25 June 2026. The page presents this as a possible change, not a rule in force.
This is an announcement, not a law. Nothing has changed yet, announced plans are often changed or dropped, and there is nothing to apply under until it is in force.
