USA: Certain immigration forms can now be made online-filing only, after 60 days' public notice

A rule in force from 11 August 2026 lets USCIS require online filing of any immigration form that has been available for e-filing for at least 180 days. Filers would use an online account, either filling in the form online or uploading a PDF. USCIS says it will give at least 60 days' notice on its website; comments are accepted until 13 October 2026.

Takes effect 2026-08-11.
